Well hello, everyone! I am so excited….even gleeful!

We’re finally launching the Words and Power podcast after having years of requests from aspiring leaders for something like this.

You and I are in for a lot of fun together!

I’m looking forward to sharing with you the inside scoop…… the tips, the strategies, the insights, and even the secrets about influence, persuasion, and presence that I’ve been collecting and teaching to C-suite leaders for decades.

And I can’t wait to see how this information helps you grow your own influence and your own power so that you can accomplish meaningful things and make a difference in your organization.

So, this short introductory episode is to give you a good sense as to what can you generally expect from episodes of this podcast.

I’m pointing this out now because our other two introductory episodes are going to take a deep dive into the mindsets around the two concepts in the title of this podcast…..the concept of “words” and the concept of “power”.

Both of these are pretty foundational things to understand if you want to become better at influence, persuasion, and presence.

That’s why we’re going to have an introductory episode on each of these concepts both before moving into some future episodes on cool tips and techniques.

So what if you’re impatient and want to get to the cool stuff right away? Well, then you sound a lot like me!Feel free to go skip ahead and do that---I’ll see you in those future episodes. Just do consider coming back and listening to these initial episodes later when you have the time. There might be some thought-provoking observations there that can accelerate your ability to grow your own influence and power.

Alright my friends, you now have a sense of what you can expect in the Words and Power podcast.

Time to start talking about these topics themselves, and making sure you have all the tools and skills you need to get your voice and your ideas heard in your organization! This is Kathy Dockry, and I’ll see you next time.
